Salisbury (locally SAWZ-b(ə-)ree) is a cathedral city in Wiltshire, England with a population of 41,820, at the confluence of the rivers Avon, Nadder and Bourne. The city is approximately 20 miles (30 kilometres) from Southampton and 30 miles (50 kilometres) from Bath. Salisbury is in the southeast of Wiltshire, near the edge of Salisbury Plain. Salisbury Cathedral was formerly north of the city at Old Sarum. The cathedral was relocated and a settlement grew up around it, which received a city charter in 1227 as New Sarum.

Ate here while visiting the railroad museum. Wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a great stop. I ordered the chicken carbonara, my husband had the chicken Alfredo. Kids has pizza and burgers. Everyone enjoyed their food. Very large serving sizes and quite well priced! Will certainly be going back if I'm in the area again.

My husband and I drove down from Raleigh to visit my grandmother for a day, or two. My husband wanted so "Good" Italian food, and suggested that we take a chance, and go to the Olive Garden (he didn't think Saliabury offered any good Italian restaurant within a 60 mile radius.) When I Googled the "Best" Italian Restaurants near me, we found Romano's! And based on their reviews they Did Not disappoint. The food was Excellent, the service was great, and environment was comfortable.
