I have been working in the substance abuse industry for 8+ years working in multiple facets and roles. As a primary admissions director, I am always seeking and searching for reliable sources to refer patients that are completing a residential stay. In looking for that, a reliable and reputable partial and intensive outpatient program needs strong programming, staffing, scheduling and patient accountability guidelines. Moving Mountains checks the boxes on all of these. Although a newer program, Moving Mountains is doing everything right. They are caring, compassionate and passionate about the work they are doing in the North East. Alumni and patients that I have referred to them have been overly pleased and successful in their journey with MMR and they especially love the adventure programming aspect. Moving Mountains does incredible work and it is refreshing to see a program that is so passionate and involved in the well being and recovery of all of their patients. I highly recommend anyone in the New Jersey area to seek them out if ever in need.
